Voting System Guidelines (VVSG) Recommendations to the EAC, August
31, 2007
At
the August 17, 2007, meeting of the Technical Guidelines Development
Committee (TGDC), the TGDC voted unanimously to approve the draft
VVSG recommendations subject to additional final edits by NIST
staff. On September 4, 2007, the final TGDC VVSG recommendations
were transmitted to the Election Assistance Commission (EAC).

Overview Material
A
searchable database of requirements, indexed according to voting
device-type as well as other requirement fields, will be forthcoming.
NIST
is currently developing a companion document to the VVSG for use
by the election community and the public. This document will contain
overviews of the VVSG requirements and will present VVSG material
in a more concise format.
